Why Some Homes Feel Lucky By Lois Kramer-Perez, C.Ht.

Why do some homes feel lucky? Is it the lucky number 9? Is it the red door? Could it be a water fountain on the front lawn? Or is it that gentle winding path leading to the front door.

What’s the first thing you notice when you enter a home – is it “Ooooh what a feeling” that something-something that just feels right or does it feel like the energy is flat, empty or eh?

I am describing my favorite tip: create fabulous firsts: the experience you have approaching your home, as you enter through the front door… what is that feeling?

Let’s break some of these things down:

“I need a red door to be lucky” – it depends!  Is the color of your house enhanced with a red door? A red door on a yellow looks like scrambled eggs with ketchup to me, wouldn’t be my first choice. We can also look at the classical feng shui principles; A red door is the fire element: if your front door faces South, the direction of the fire element: you are enhancing that area. If your front door faces Southwest the direction earth element, a red fire door will nourish the Southwest because fire nourishes earth in the productive 5 element cycle.
Give your front door the love it deserves. Make that first experience through your front door fabulous.

That gentle winding or meandering path leading to the front door. Ahh feels lovely to slow down, enjoy the journey, calming your energy, opening your awareness to enjoy the surroundings as you make your way to meet your host feel fabulous coming home.

Moving water is a metaphor for money. A strategically placed water fountain bringing the water towards the house is the principle for welcoming money into the home.

And speaking of water — while a fountain at your entrance is a beautiful symbol of welcoming money in, the most important water in your home is the kind you don’t see: the pipes, the drains, the everyday flow that keeps your home healthy & flowing effortlessly.

Giving love to your bathrooms, sinks, toilets, pipes are a key to luck for money: leaky pipes are a clue money is leaking out of your pockets’, clogged pipes are a clue money blocked from coming into your pockets: ponder what actions you have contributed to stimulating these alerts! Repair what needs repairing and take proactive steps in your actions to remedy your money situation.

I want a house with the number 9! Yes 9 is a fabulous number: passionate, vibrant, fun, transformational, spotlighting recognition & reputation. 9 is especially powerful since we moved into a new 20 year “9 fire period” in 2024. It may not be practical to only buy a house with the number 9 or multiples of 9, what you can do is to be creative with using the number 9 – plant 9 shrubs, 9 planters with red plants or 9 lights along the path, you get the picture.

Have you noticed the common denominator in all these ideas about what feels like a lucky home? You! Your relationship with your home, from the everyday experience you have coming home, entering through the front door, sitting in your favorite chair, waking up in the morning & so on & so on.

Remember that common denominator in all of the scenarios— you? That’s exactly why feng shui isn’t one-size-fits-all. A red door might be perfect for one home and completely off for another. Nine planters might be powerful for one person and meaningless for the next. Googling will give you general information, but feng shui at its best is a conversation between principles, the space, and the specific “YOU” living in it. The details matter tremendously — and getting them right is what turns a house into a home that truly feels like YOURS and truly feels LUCKY.

Drinking in the New Moon Energy

OOOooh What A New Moon Can Do For You

The Next New Moon Peaks April 17 at 7:51 AM EDT

How can you tap into this inspirational energy?

Here is a simple ritual I am going to do:

Fill a small clear bowl or jar with fresh drinkable water.

Place a note at under the bowl ( on the outside of the bowl)

stating something you are going to begin.

Hold the bowl under the New Moon –

State your New Beginning Action in Detail

Feel Every Part of It

Celebrate Your Success

Drink the Water!

1st Full Moon 2026 Make Space

Our first full moon for 2026.. how can you tap into the power?

First.. connect with the meaning of the “Wolf Moon.” The name comes from how the wolves howled more during this full moon, communicating with each other.

Take some inspiration from the wolves..  enhance your communication skills.. as my friend Don Miguel Ruiz says, don’t take it personally – its not always about you, & don’t make assumptions. Have patience, listen before you speak, then ask questions.

Second.. Use your enhanced communication gifts to speak your truth, with grace.

Look for the good in every situation first.. that will set the frequency and when the situation is most challenging, you have the courage and strength to get thru it without getting lost in it..

Third…Make Space.. make room for the intentions and the magic to manifest by letting go of the thoughts which cloud your mind, emotions &weigh heavy on your body.

Fourth…Get out and howl  when you see the full moon bright! We get to enjoy it even past it’s peak.

Remember this: we are in the season of winter, the energy of water where our imagination & intuition are at our most refined and elevated frequencies. How you daydream is important to examine -is this what I want? Is this what I desire to feel? Remember you are a human being, you are not meant to be “perfect.” If all you do is release judgement around your thoughts & feelings and decide, which are beneficial and which are not – you are way ahead already, When you find yourself in that place of thoughts or feelings which have no benefit to continue – thank them for the information, for bringing something to your attention, then replace that feeling with something better, I sometimes say, hmm that is not true anymore .. this is something that helps me. It is not good or bad, it just is .. I can choose to change any belief or perception any time I choose.

Empowering Wellness: Your Mind-Body Approach to Self-Care by Lois Kramer-Perez CHt.

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in chaos, not realizing why we feel tired, sad, frustrated, or irritable. Do you put others first forgetting to care for yourself? Have you pushed your feelings aside because you feel there’s no time? These patterns become habits we don’t even notice. Patterns are something we created & we have the power to change them.

By focusing on your mind-body connection, you can become more aware of how your body responds to your thoughts. Your mind constantly sends messages to your body, which can create tension, like clenching your jaw, tightening your shoulders, or cramping your legs. These reactions become automatic over time. You can change these patterns by being mindful of your body. By noticing how it feels, you can catch tension before it builds and choose to relax or redirect your attention for better well-being.

Simple Tips
Set your intention for the day before you get out of bed, stretch like a cat taking a few deep breaths, smiling as you connect with your intention.

–Notice how your body feels, set a parameter for noticing how it feels when you’re relaxed, focused & clear, so you’ll be aware when you not.

–Take two deep breaths after completing a task, a phone call or as when your body is tense. Feel your feet on the floor & breathe in beneficial energy & exhale what is done.

Stand up & stretch periodically, especially when you have been sitting for long periods of time, get up & march in place for 20 steps with your arms naturally swinging.

–Drink lots of fresh pure water, this not only keeps you hydrated, but will nudge your body to get up every so often.

Take a 30 second vacation with Lois, these 30 second videos re-direct your attention, are fun & bring you to a state of calm & peace.

Smile into your breath, your cells will smile right back, those around us will smile too.

Exploring the Path to Inner Harmony with Meditation & Mindfulness by Lois Kramer- Perez, C.Ht

In the fast-paced world of daily life, finding calm amidst the chaos can often feel like an overwhelming challenge. Yet, you already have the power, it’s with you 24/7, your breath: this is your connection to meditation and mindfulness. According to doctors & health practitioners, embracing these practices not only enhances well-being but can also contribute to preserving life itself.

Meditating regularly has become a foundation of holistic health, with its ability to significantly lower blood pressure being one of its many benefits. Beyond its physiological effects, meditation provides us with the mental stamina to manage the stress & uncertainty we all face in today’s world.

The beauty of meditation is its accessibility & ease of learning. With an open mind and a willingness to explore, you can easily begin a journey of self-discovery, using various techniques such as breathing, guided imagery, music & crystal bowls as guides along the way.

Meditation is just skimming the surface. How do you manage in between the moments of meditation and calmness? Imagine having the ability to manage your energy being anywhere with anyone regardless of what is happening around you? You will even learn how other people trigger feelings and emotions that are not even relevant to you & your mood at that time!

Diving deeper into the realm of mindfulness, you can learn an abundance of methods & begin to easily manage stress, cultivating inner peace in the moments between meditation sessions. The first step to the road of peace is using your breath. What happens when you are stressed or anxious? You hold your breath. You may not even realize how often your breathing becomes shallow.

Experience this right now: Sit up comfortably, feel your feet on the floor, close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths: pay close attention, feel how deep you can move your breath into your body, imagine you can breathe all the way to your feet. Now do it again, on these next 3 Deep breaths, imagine you’re breathing in only what is beneficial for you right now, “peace & calm” & as you exhale imagine you’re exhaling all the stuff that stresses you out!

Easy right? How do you feel? For those of you who think you can’t meditate – you just did!

So why not begin this transformative journey of self-discovery? The good news is you can join us for three evenings filled with experiential practices designed to awaken your natural ability for mindfulness & inner harmony. Together, we’ll explore the untapped potential of the mind and spirit, uncovering a world where serenity reigns supreme amidst the chaos of everyday life.

Gratitude in the Face of Frustration, by Lois Kramer-Perez, C.Ht.

Here we are in the month of November, a time of harvest, sharing & gratitude.

As I look around enjoying the shift in seasons, taking in the magic of autumn here in the northeast, just when I thought I had seen it all,
pow – here comes something else.
We are constantly finding chaos around us, some minor, some major, some chaos is part of our doing & some is out of our control.
How often do you find yourself frustrated, annoyed or even angry at the state of the world?
How can you feel gratitude in the face of so much unrest?

In the best of times there will always be something triggering our emotions.

Here are some things to remember:
You are only responsible for you. You do not have the “power” to “fix” anyone.
You do have the power to take care of yourself, to become grounded, to find your peace & your gratitude. You deserve this and more.
You do have the power to be compassionate, kind, and caring: first to yourself, then your capacity to be for others is greatly enhanced.

How to get started? How to get out of all the noise?
Begin with you.
Find a quiet place, sit comfortably and be with yourself, take this time to “notice.”
Focus on the moment, find 3 things you are grateful for right now & experience the feeling.
Example: I am grateful to sit here comfortably. I am grateful to see the sunshine/moonlight/clouds/raindrops. I am grateful I can feel this gratitude and peace within me.

The world is filled with peace, chaos, gratitude, resentment, joy, sadness, hope & despair. It can be challenging to not get swept away in all these emotions.

Everyday life can pull you in all directions. The more you can manage daily life, the stronger your foundation of grounding becomes. You have a greater capacity to feel gratitude & be compassionate when you are grounded.
You will be surprised how one small thing can make a difference.

This is what happened recently happened to me.

I got in my car to go to a workshop at a place I have never been, with people I had not yet met.
As I began to drive, I noticed something smelled! Sniff sniff, is it me? Do I have body odor?
This is bad. I look down in the cup holder & I see remnants of onion salsa – Oy! My boyfriend drove my car yesterday – this is what he leaves me? Now I am fuming! I am going to stink & bring this stink into a new place, meeting new people – how horrifying!

Then it hit me, I must be in a “Seinfeld episode.” There was an episode of the show “Seinfeld” where the parking attendant contaminated ‘Jerry’s car” with a pungent odor. Everyone who drove or rode in his car came out smelling! I started to laugh silly – I must be “Elaine”.  By the time I reached my destination, I was feeling wonderful, grateful to enjoy the day, rather than show up in a fowl angry mood.  Feeling grateful I didn’t bring the “stink” into the room with me. Feeling grateful to enjoy a wonderful workshop, learning new things, meeting new people.

This could have gone another way; I could have continued to get angry at a situation I had no control over. A minor event could have distracted me to a point where I was more concerned about “me” rather than grateful for this enjoyable opportunity.  Has something like this ever happened to you?  I am sure it has.

Learning to do the best you can in any situation can change the dynamic of the outcome.

Your biggest influence on others is much more than the words you say, it is how you are “being”.
How do you want to influence those around you? Be grateful for where you are, what you have, who you “be.” You will find it all coming back to you in abundance!

Heal Your Past Embrace Your Present, The Power of Past Life Regression

Lois Kramer-Perez, C.Ht.  Queen of the Shui, Certified in Past Life Regression by Brian Weiss, MD, finds that there is a belief we create our karma from one life to the next. One theory is that you may have agreed to return and find yourself in a similar situation – a family dynamic or particular event. However, that doesn’t mean that you automatically are destined to experience the same pain, abuse, fear, destructive, challenging behavior, or situation. You have the free will to choose how to experience what is happening. Your lesson is in learning to choose the healthy path for your greatest good now.

Why consider experiencing a Past Life Regression? You may have felt a sense of familiarity when visiting a new place or meeting someone for the first time. Maybe you find yourself repeating certain patterns in your life or having recurring dreams that feel very real. A Past Life Regression session seeks to uncover the root of these experiences by exploring past lives, past years, and past days to understand the connection between them.

As you explore the possibilities, not only do you have the free will to choose, but all the people who have chosen to return to the same lifetime also have free will. Your healthy beneficial choice may bring a benefit to those in your circle at that time. Every time you clear a pattern or behavior in your life, you are automatically influencing the people connected with you just by being you. The potential to repeat a pattern will always exist – however, it is not written in stone – but more like written in sand with the potential to re-write the story as you choose, whenever you choose, over and over again to serve your highest good.

The process used in a past life regression session is a mindful guided relaxation, allowing the subconscious mind to be open to information, allowing messages, images, feelings, senses, and memories to surface. In a conscious state, the logical brain wants to make sense of & control your thoughts, reaction, and current behavior patterns. As you begin your Past Life Regression Journey, your subconscious mind will be your guide and support your power of free will to choose without getting caught up in “story” or search to make sense, thereby missing the point.

When reviewing a past life or significant memory, it is important to understand that placing 2023 values or beliefs on a situation that happened in another time – either past, simultaneous, or future – is not the purpose. The point is to find freedom. You may revisit one “situation” multiple times, or you may have multiple “situations” in one session. There is no right or wrong. Everyone has their own unique experiences.

During your session, “doors” will open for you – déjà vu, geographical, imagination, fantasy, and memory. This is soul work, lessons in forgiveness, releasing judgment, & owning your power to make a new choice. Before you proceed with your session, you will be guided to connect with your higher self – your best, most supportive part of you – to help you receive the best out of this process for your greatest good, even beyond your knowing.

Schedule Your Private Session. Lois guides you on a journey to uncover, unravel, or release past experiences that may be affecting your present life. This technique can be beneficial for everyone, whether it is your first time, or you’ve experienced past life regression before. This Past Life Regression experience can be a powerful tool for you to gain insight into your present life and understand how your past experiences may be affecting you. With the guidance of a certified practitioner like Lois Kramer-Perez C.Ht, you can explore these experiences in a safe and supportive environment and move forward with a better understanding of yourself.
