New Year – New You- 2021 Here We Come

Are you ready? Are You Ready for This? 2021 Here We Come!

I don’t know about you but come the first of January I am not always ready with my feet planted on the ground to start the new year running. What I have found is I take a lesson from Feng Shui and tap into the wisdom of Chinese New Year.
Chinese Lunar New Year fluctuates depending on the cycles of the lunar calendar, falling somewhere between mid-January to mid-February. I love the traditions and the actions I take to create my fabulous feng shui grounded in positive intentions and actions. This year the lunar new year is February 12, plenty of time to get ready to create a 2021 filled with prosperity, good health and happiness.

I refer to the space I spend the most time as my “living vision board.” This includes my home, my office and even my car!

Take a moment to look around and see what is happening in your space. These past months have been quite the upheaval in how we are all living our daily lives.
What is happening around you is impacting your actions whether you are aware or not.
Your space is having a conversation with your subconscious all the time – get involved in the conversation! Pause and notice how you are feeling where you are spending the most time. Make this a new habit!

Here are a few tips to get you started, I have a combined some of my tried-and-true tips with a few Chinese New Year traditions.

1. Make a Plan – Create the Plan the Works for YOU. Be realistic in your goals, know how your true nature thrives best and go for it.

2. Create Fabulous Firsts: What you see is what you become whether you are conscious of it or not. Notice how you feel, and create all your “Firsts” to feel “Fabulous”

3. The first words you Think when you awake each day: think and feel sweet, positive words that are filled with love and gratitude to set your daily tone.

4. Love it or Lose it: Keep only those objects that make you feel good. Clear out and de-clutter making room for new opportunities coming your way. Whether a drawer, your wallet or a closet, every little bit makes room for a little more.

5. Clean for A Fresh Start – Everything is clear when you can see through your windows, all the light bulbs are working, and you see your beauty reflected in your mirrors. Wash your front door to create a fresh start of how you are seen in the world.

6. A Bouquet of Fresh Flowers -Live blooming flowers represent rebirth and new beginnings. Feel alive by bringing in plants and flowers to inspire you to take action

7. Stock the fridge and cupboards with an abundance of fresh nutritious foods. A colorful fruit bowl connects your vibration to health and wellbeing. Oranges and tangerines represent money and prosperity; Apples symbolize good health and safety.

8. Your Appearance, Your Actions, Your Attitudes, set the tone for the New Year – Create the vibration you want to attract.

Maximize the Power of 8 Bonus Booster in 2018
Maximize the Power of the 8 for 2018 – SouthEast!
Feng Shui principles connect to energy using time and space.
Looking at the time period 2004 – 2023, we find that “8” is our most auspicious number as we are in a period “8” for these 20 years.
Each year the magic number “8” is visiting one of the 9 sectors of the cardinal directions. When we connect to this auspicious area, we can align with, what I refer to as  “bonus energy of the universe”
One of my favorite Bonus Boosters is a Wealth Vase.
Supplies Needed:
New Enriched Rice,
Ginger Jar or Decorative Jar with Lid,
Red Envelope,
88 cents, dollars or any denomination in double “8”
Place the red envelope with the money at the bottom of the jar
Add the rice
Include an intention for prosperity: mine is $.88 x 100,00
Close the lid.

vision board photo

I just love connecting with the gift of the Universe. Each year there are auspicious locations which support us in our life journey. For those of us who create vision boards, they become very powerful if we place them in these areas of bonus energy.
These are my picks for the best locations to place your vision board in 2015.

North: 2015 Abundant Prosperity The North is the #1 auspicious area for this year. Energize this area by spending time here. If the front door is in the North be sure to use it even if you enter through another door, make a point to use it. Open the windows let the fresh air circulate to activate this abundance. By placing your vision board here, your connect to power of abundant potential in your life journey.

East: This area is naturally auspicious in 2015 as we have the career energy enhancing this are. When you spend time in this area, feel prosperity flourishing. Place your vision board in the east reflecting both professional and personal goals for 2015.

Northeast: Helpful and auspicious energy to help attract success in your career and achieve recognition for your accomplishments. Spending time here encourages you to aim higher and become greater than you thought possible. When you place your vision board here in 2015, feel the power!

SouthWest: Future Prosperity: This is the auspicious area for 2015 which creates more of whatever comes in contact. Activating this area sets up prosperity for career and business, a very good place to manifest your visions. Fresh flowers, healthy green plants energize this fortunate area of the home. Aligning with the Stars – Bonus Boosters for 2014

Aligning with the Stars of 2014
Bonus Boosters for 2014
Lets align with the energy of 2014 so we can make the most of our opportunities!
South: Prosperity – Spend Time Here! Energize this area with movement such as a pendulum clock, kinetic sculpture, music, however; the best movement of all is activity! If front door is in the South be sure to use it. Open the windows, let the fresh air circulate. Add earth elements with firey colors, glazed pottery, porcelain, terracotta. Earth Crystals enhance this area: citrine, yellow calcite, yellow quartz. A cinnabar egg, 8 metal coins on a red string enhance wealth. Hanging a faceted crystal will activate the auspicious energy. Fire element colors or shapes support the earth element of the 8 star of wealth.

North: Future Prosperity:   Also known as the “Multiplying Completion” as is creates more of whatever comes in contact.  Activating this area sets up prosperity for career and business. A good area to study or if a bedroom is in the north, a good area to enhance relationships & romance. Fresh flowers, healthy green plants energize this fortunate area of the home. 9 amethyst crystals and a coral gem tree are good activators.
SouthWest: Relationship:  Use metal to drain the earth allowing the water to generate prosperity and good fortune. A brass wu lu (hour glass shape metal vase) or any round spherical metal objects will contain the earth so it will not overcome the benefits of the water. 10 coins on a red string symbolize creating water. Irregular shapes and colors of water such as black, rich deep blues stimulate the water energy. Avoid wood shapes ( vertical ) and green wood colors. Wood will soak up the water.
West: Heaven: The 6 Heaven star bringswealth and success in career. Activate the Metal Element with round shapes, smooth lead glass crystal ball, metal objects such as 6 smooth coins or round crystals in a bowl.
The Center:Romance and Wisdom: Everything that happens in the Center affects the whole. Keep this area clean and clear of clutter and obstacles.  Enhance the Wood Element with vibrant flowers in colors of blues, green, and lush green plants. Clean fresh water is important in vases with bamboo or fresh flowers. Avoid metal shapes, colors, objects, as metal can whittle the wood. Avoid fire elements, colors red, orange etc, candles, as this will reduce the auspicious wood energy.
This area is beneficial for study, for writers, film producers, entertainment industry.
Quiet the Energy

South  2 “The Grand Duke” shares 15° of this sector here this year. (172.5° to 187.5°)
Keep that area quiet, no construction if possible. Try not to face that direction. It is said that it’s best to sit with your back to this 15° area to gain full support of the “Grand Duke.”
NorthEast : Use of Water Element drains the metal, Still Water with 6 coins and as accents of colors blue and black. A Blue Rhinoceros is a fierce Water icon. Front door in the NE, service or install security and smoke alarm systems. Kitchen in the NE, check the fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are active. Office is in the NE, be sure to read all contracts carefully, especially the fine print. Do not take anything for granted.  Avoid adding Metal and Earth Elements to this area.
NorthWest: . A Brass “Wu Lou” “Calabash” or hour glass shape item will contain the unstable 5 earth. 6 coins on a red string, and use of Metal Elements additionally contain the earth. Avoid adding Fire Elements to this area such as bright lights, candles, and fiery shapes and colors.
SouthEast:  To avoid arguments in this area, add the Fire Element such as candles, bright sparkley lights, triangular shapes and colors or red, orange and fuchsia. Best not to activate or nourish the wood, therefore; avoid metal which destroys the wood energy and avoid water whether virtual or elemental as water enhances the wood.
East: A Brass “Wu Lou” “Calabash” or hour glass shape item will contain the unstable 2 earth. 6 coins on a red string, and use of Metal Elements additionally contain the earth.
